PPCT Spontaneous Knife Defense

OC Instructor Course
8 Hours

Oleoresin Capsicum (OC) Spray is one of the most useful force options available to law enforcement.  An officer of any size could quickly deescalate an encounter with several large, hostile subjects.  It offers a heightened ability to incapacitate a subject while minimizing the chance of permanent injury.  OC derives from the extract of hot peppers plants, and it is merely an inflammatory to the eyes and respiratory system.  Using OC Spray is an easy process that does not require continued practice, unlike many perishable defensive tactics skills.  Our one-day course will cover OC history, delivery systems, deployment, and post-use treatment/observations as well as a review of the Use of Force.  OC Instructor Course provides the needed background to transform any officer into a certified OC Pepper Spray Instructor.
